Inspired by architect and sociologist Galen Cranz, this lounge chair is designed for the “Constructive Rest” position, promoting blood flow and supporting bone structure while alleviating pressure on muscles and tissues, unlike traditional upholstered furniture. The chair showcases a zig-zag modern/contemporary shape that adds a dynamic visual appeal, complemented by a distinctive white outline along the side of the plywood. This design element creates an illusion of levitation, enhancing the overall aesthetic and emphasizing the chair’s innovative form.
